Bert the Bear

Jeff reached out to me because the AI service that he was using could not generate scenes in which this "Bert the Bear" character had a consistent look between the different images. I proposed creating a 3D character which could then could be rendered and edited into AI gnereated scenes.

From there I was tasked with creating a character design for Bert to be based on.

From the pencil sketches we landed on a final design.

But that wasn't all because I needed something to work from for the back pack. For this purpose, a sketch sufficed.

From here I could start modeling the bear  his clothes, and accesories in Maya.

And finally, I could add fur and rigging in blender to allow for the character to pose and emote.
